Just watch the opening seconds of this video. That’s what initially caught my eye. I can’t remember the last time I saw someone so deliriously happy to be playing music. I’ve since watched this video several times, and that passion is certainly carried through the rest of this song by Alaskan artist Quinn Christopherson. It’s not a particularly flashy or dramatic song. Neither is the video. But there is something wonderfully sincere and pure about it. Part of this has to do with the fact that I really like the song. But I also really love watching people do what they’re clearly passionate about, and this video has that in spades. For that reason alone, I can’t wait to check out the rest of Christopherson’s work.
