Once again, I find myself at the end of a long week that has been a week. And once again, I find myself craving a joyful song that will make me dance my way into the weekend. That is why I cannot begin to describe how deliriously happy I was to discover this incredible song and music video from Jon Batiste. The pure, unadulterated joy that is radiating out of him as he sings, dances, and flirts his way through this song is exactly the ray of sunshine I needed this morning. I love this so much that I’m not even jealous about all the incredible dancing that’s on display. There’s no way I could ever be that coordinated and I don’t care. It’s just such a pleasure to watch.
So thank you Jon Batiste for putting so much joy and happiness into the world. I will be humming this song all weekend and I couldn’t be happier about it.
