This absolutely was a song that snuck up on me. I wasn’t familiar with Younha prior to “Winter Flower” coming to me through a recommendation, but I’m already in love with the range of her voice. This song starts out beautiful, but delicate. Her voice is soft, but not in a bad way. There’s an ethereal quality to it that is gorgeous. And then we hit the chorus and she knocks it out of the park. It’s powerful, dramatic, and I loved every second of it. And yes, RM is in there as well, as yes, as usual he’s fantastic. BTS Army please don’t @ me. But for me, this song is all about Younha and the incredible range of her voice. I just know I’ll be singing that chorus for days to come, and I’m not the least bit distraught about this.
