It’s a Monday, which means I wanted something upbeat to start the week off right. Enter K-pop group Seventeen and their ridiculously catchy song, “Home Run”. I’m just going to get right to the point. I LOVE this song. It’s K-pop, big band style, and there’s nothing that I don’t love about it. The video is great, their recent performance on the Late Late Show is great, everything about it is great. I especially love the fact that with so many members in the group, it feels like an entire Broadway chorus is performing those dance breaks. And before you ask, yes, there’s only 13 members when the group’s name is Seventeen, and no, I don’t know why that is. I’m sure there’s a reason, I’ve just been too busy listening to this song on endless repeat to look it up.
So happy Monday all! Please enjoy this ridiculously good song that I know I’ll still be humming to myself months from now. And I’m not mad about this fact in the slightest.
