Once again, I found myself mesmerized by a video of a painting coming to life. Seriously. What is it about watching someone paint that is so soothing? Or is that just me? Either way, I loved watching this video of an acrylic painting materialize before my eyes under the hand of Serena Art.
Unlike last time, there was no commentary with this video, and as a result, I was left with some questions about the artist’s process. In particular, I was intrigued by the decision to fill in Ariel’s silhouette with splashes of colour. Personally, I would have kept that space empty, but that’s just me. And that’s also the beauty of art. There’s no right or wrong way to create it, and I can’t deny that the final image is gorgeous. I know I keep saying this, but one day I will have art like this on my walls.
