Daily Helping for April 7th, 2023 – Sodura by Sarantuya

YouTube keeps sending me music by Mongolian artists, and I for one couldn’t be more happy about it. Especially when it means I get to discover the work of Sarantuya, the top selling Mongolian singer of all time who has been dominating the Mongolian music scene since the late 80s. Queen.

Her discography is extensive, but the video that was sent my way was “Sodura“. And it was exactly the peaceful and soothing song I was looking for this morning as I head into the final (ridiculously busy) week of my current job contract. But it’s also clear from the video that this song is from a movie, and I very much want to see this movie now. If any knows the name of it, please let me know. It’s definitely going on my to watch list.
