Sarah Naqvi, judging from their Instagram page, is an incredibly talented, multi-disciplinary artist who works in several mediums. This artist came to me through a rec, and I loved scrolling through their Instagram page and taking in all of their works. I loved them all, but I was particularly drawn to the above piece, “Story of Eid-al-Adha in Kalamkari“. It’s made from natural dyes on cotton, and I love the colour scheme and composition of the figures. It’s hard to judge how big this piece is, but big or small, it’s still gorgeous. I’m not sure how often Sarah Naqvi exhibits internationally, but if they ever show in Paris, I will be first in line. I’d love to see their work in person.
