Daily Helping for July 7th, 2023 – ONEWE – Rain to Be

Anyone who is a regular reader of The Daily Hart knows that the beginning of this year was… stressful, to say the least. But in and amongst all of the stress, I discovered The Rose, a Korean indie-rock band who quite literally saved my sanity during those stressful times. I don’t know what it is about their music, but listening to them never failed to calm my brain whenever I was spiralling. Needless to say, I had a The Rose playlist playing on repeat from February to April.

All of this is to say that what the YouTube algorithm gleaned from all of this is that I only want to listen to Korean indie bands, and therefore I’ve been sent a steady stream of them since the spring. Not that I’m complaining. It’s how I discovered ONEWE, today’s daily helping, and their ridiculously catchy song “Rain To Be“. The stressful times may have passed, but something tells me I have a lot of ONEWE playlists in my future.
