I cannot begin to describe to you the way this song just absolutely lit up every single section of my lizard brain when I first heard it. This is exactly the kind of music that made me first start listening to music when I was 13 (yes, I was late to the whole appreciating music party), and I have loved it ever since.
In this case, One OK Rock is a Japanese band, and I love how their lyrics seamlessly flow between English and Japanese. But mostly, I just love their music. Since listening to this song, I have devoured their entire back catalogue, and every single time I just smile like an idiot. Either they have to tour through Paris or I’m getting on a plane to Japan once concerts are allowed again. Because One OK Rock just shot to the top of my “Must see live” list, and I can’t wait. In the meantime, I have a feeling this will be my new Friday night banger for the foreseeable future.
