It’s a Sunday and I just want to listen to some beautiful music to end the week. Which is exactly what I got when I discovered this single from Kenyan singer-songwriter Ondara. An incredibly beautiful song. The lyrics are wonderfully melodic and flow into one another in ever changing ways. The acoustic guitar music is simple and gorgeous. And Ondara’s voice is somehow both soaring and marvellously understated. It’s the perfect song for a Sunday afternoon, so if you will excuse me, I will be over here listening to it on loop for a while. I hope you enjoy it as well.
