Daily Helping for May 7th, 2021 – MIIA – Celebrate Your Life

It’s Friday! Time to dance my way into the weekend! I know I tend to say this every week, but this past week saw the launch of a project I’ve been working on for months, so I’m feeling particularly celebratory today. Enter Norwegian singer MIIA. The first song of hers that I discovered was “Dynasty“, and I love it. But it’s a bit sombre for a Friday. “Celebrate Your Life” however? Perfection. It’s exactly what I wanted to hear this morning. Could it be seen as a bit too hubristic? Perhaps. But this week was a good week and I feel like celebrating that, so “Celebrate Your Life” it is.

Happy Friday all! I’ll be over here dancing to this song for the rest of the day, and I may or may not have a glass of champagne in my hand…

Suggestions for artists I should check out? Please contact me with your ideas. I hope you enjoyed your daily helping of art!
