I recently attended a staged reading of a collection of poems by Mairi-Claire Traynor. They were all delightfully absurd and comically whimsical, but I particularly liked “The Problem With Lamp”. It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one who talks to my furniture…
On an entirely unrelated note, today marks the halfway point of The Daily Hart Year III (Yes! Already! I don’t know where the time is going either!), and therefore I thought that this would be as good a time as any to check in and see how the challenge is going. So far, I’ve featured art from over 40 different countries. My goal this year is 100, so I think it’s time to dig out the map and start choosing countries at random. I can’t wait to see where this takes me.
