Daily Helping for January 8th, 2023 – Jane Yeh – The Revenger’s Tragedy

This poem is not very long, but wow does it pack a punch. Jane Yeh certainly has a way with words, and she does not hold back from the anger and fury found in “The Revenger’s Tragedy”.

“I hate like a tooth hurts, At the root.”

Yikes. It’s powerful, raw, and visceral, and I love it. I will absolutely be reading more of Jane Yeh’s work in the future. Just one poem and I’m hooked.
