Daily Helping for May 19th, 2021 – Hey Little Fighter – Floor van de Wiel, Daphe van der Voort, and Raifa Bazzi

Once again, I found myself in the mood for dance this morning, and once again, YouTube came through for me. Hey Little Fighter is filmed by Floor van de Wiel and Daphne van der Voort, and is danced by Raifa Bazzi. And it’s beautiful. A fluid, graceful, and mesmerizing showcase of movement, including a couple of instances that appear to defy gravity. Absolutely gorgeous.

Side note. Today marks the day that performance venues officially re-open in Paris, meaning it will soon be possible to experience dance in person. I cannot even begin to express how happy this makes me. Of course, I will still seek out dance videos online, because sadly, it’s not possible to go to the theatre every night. But I can’t wait to finally experience one of these performances live. It’s going to be amazing.
