Daily Helping for June 15th, 2021 – Claire Yixuan Zhang – Victorian Bustle Gown

Ask anyone who knows me. I have truly astonishingly bad fashion sense. Like, almost non-existent. It’s not something I do on purpose. I just have zero interest in fashion in general. But this video by Claire Yixuan Zhang had me hooked from beginning to end. In my eyes, this isn’t fashion. This is art, pure and simple.

The dedication required to spend 186 hours making one dress just blows my mind, and you can see every single one of those hours in the finished product. This dress is absolutely stunning, and Zhang looks perfectly gorgeous in it. I know literally nothing about this style or the processes involved in creating it, but I do know I could look at this dress all day. I think it’s time I added a new category to the Daily Hart.
