Daily Helping for March 6th, 2023 – Aryana Sayeed – Bache Kabul

It’s a new week, and I’m kicking it off with “Bache Kabul” by Aryana Sayeed. Once again, today’s daily helping came to me through a rec, and I instantly fell in love with the mix of sounds and genres of this song. Aryana Sayeed is Afghani, and so after listening to this song, I looked up her biography. And I was relieved to read that she was able to successfully flee Afghanistan after the fall of Kabul to the Taliban in 2021. Wherever she is right now, I hope she’s safe and still making music.
