Daily Helping for April 10th, 2021 – Anne Smith – Aerial Silks

A photo of aerialist Anne Smith, mid-performance, upside down with her legs extended to the side, hanging from a set of purple silks.

Yes, it’s time for another aerial performance, this time by artist Anne Smith. Honestly, I can’t get enough of these videos. In this case, the strength, power, and flexibility on display is stunning as always. But I also loved the musicality of the piece overall. I’ve never heard this cover of “Sweet Dreams” before, and it is hauntingly beautiful. It’s also perfect for this performance.

Also, just a quick question. Does anyone else watch these videos thinking, “Take that gravity!!!”? Asking for a friend…
